Teachers avert gun possession, burns Trump's gun measure comment with #ArmMeWith

Resisting President Donald Trump and other gun advocates' suggestion to arm “adept teachers” with guns, educators and teachers mainly from America rallied the #ArmMeWith movement in the wake of the Florida shooting to call for what they actually need to be “armed” with instead of firearms.

The viral hashtag started with Trump’s tweet a week after the Parkland, Florida shooting on February 14 in which a former student that has a history of mental problem shot 17 classmates and faculty and injured at least 12 with an AR-15 rifle.

It is then that two educators, Brittany Wheaton and Olivia Berkels started the advocacy of rejecting Trump’s suggestive tweet against arming teachers, and instead focus on sourcing out funds to help students with mental health issues using their Instagram accounts where it gathered support from teachers and made their own versions of the #ArmMeWith movement.

In less than two weeks, the hashtag garnered more than 10,000 individual posts on Instagram alone, pointing out recurring ideas such as additional health funds and stricter gun laws. But others managed to draw recognition on the essentials of a school by pointing out its effects on the common student.

But then, a few hours later however, POTUS Trump made another tweet after drawing ire from the hashtag.
